Biography: Marnette Dyer Sengel, 84, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday May 7, 2013. She was born in Gould, Arkansas at her great-uncle Stone Holthoff?s home on September 25, 1928. Her parents were Eugene and Lillian (Deal) Dyer. She grew up and lived in Dumas until marrying Robert Sengel on June 22, 1944. They were married for 58 years until his death in 2002. She was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Greta Kelley and her husband, Larry of Jacksonville and by her daughter, Lenette Taylor and her husband, Larry of Stowe, Ohio. She also has two granddaughters, Melissa Horn Haney and her husband, Tony and her daughter, Annabeth of Richmond, VA and Kit Wellner her husband, Jerry and her daughter, Sydney of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by a special cousin, David Plaudis, who was like a son to her. She was classy and sassy ? a true southern lady with a sharp sense of humor. A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Friday May 10, 2013 at 230 p.m. Memorial gifts should be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County 14600 Col. Greta - Bill and I were grateful to be your mom's neighbors when we lived behind Baseline Christian Church, which he pastored. Am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Yes, she was a classy lady and loved by all who knew her.
