During his time of service, he was awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Medal. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force on April 30, 1956 with the rank of First Lieutenant. He returned to the University where he met the love of his life, Bebe. He later enjoyed a long career in real estate first with his brother-in-law at McKinney & Taylor and then The Janet Jones Co. until his retirement in 2006. Pink was a kind, loving and honorable man, a wonderful father and an enthusiastic grandfather to his three grandsons. He truly had a heart of gold. Pink enjoyed many weekends on Lake Hamilton with his family putting out trot lines and catching mammoth catfish on jugs. Pink loved his Chris-Craft more than life itself and tooled all around Lake Hamilton with his ?hair? blowing in the wind. He loved watching Razorback football with Debbie and his grandsons and was a huge Hog fan to the end. He took enormous pride in his grandsons and loved each of them for their own unique qualities and talents. They loved their dogs, Coco, Elsa and Mayday who provided them with great companionship and joy. They entertained together, travelled together, retired together and took care of each other. So sorry for your loss, and we will offer a family Rosary for the happy repose of your father's soul and for your family's consolation.

I have a happy memory of eating lobsters for the first time at your house!

Debbie and Iboo,
I know this has been such an emotional and exhausting 2months. Your parents are so loved and cherished and they knew that! Now, they will rest in eternal peace together, hand in hand. While your hearts are heavy, I know that they raised two incredible daughters and that your dad' will always be remembered for the fruits a life lived well.
My deepest sorrow,
Rachel

Debbie and Iboo, I am so sorry to hear of your Daddy's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him several times on real estate transactions. Your Daddy was such a gentleman and such a delight to work with. May God wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace.

Iboo, I first met your Dad at a Janet Jones Christmas party. My wife was working for Janet at the time. He was a delight to be around, and we "killed" many a duck at that and subsequent Janet Jones parties. As many have said before me, he and your mom are at peace now. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Iboo, Debbie and family. . . .it has definitely been an emotionally exhausting couple months for you folks to say the least! And as hard as it is to lose the ones we love the most. . . the reality is that Pink is now finally at peace - and you have to believe Bebe is even more at peach with him beside her once again. I hope all of you can find comfort knowing they are in a better place, comfortable, no more worries, no more pain. . . .and now God has a couple more angels to watch over all of you! Lots of love and prayers for all of you in the days to come.
