There are not enough words to pay tribute to the person my mother was and everything she gave to me throughout my life.
Betty Jo was the best mother a girl could have. There was never a time that she wasn't there for me and always made me feel that I was the most interesting and beautiful girl in the world. She remembered the names of all of my friends and coworkers, from my experiences I would share, and she could hardly wait to hear the next chapter of everything I was doing and what was going on in my life.
She adored my children, each were equally special to her. She and Rachael had become such sweet and "special girlfriends", they acted like two teenagers having a sleepover- full of giggles and secrets. Joshua was her "sweet boy" who was always accepting of, and encouraged by her gentle guidance and advice. She was so proud of his accomplishments in life, every step of the way. Mary Beth was her "beautiful princess" who, without question, has the ability to conquer the world with her combined strength and kind heart. Jack was always there at a moments notice, only a phone call away for anything that was needed. She was comforted by his kindness and so proud of the "good man" he has become. She loved my husband, Danny, and always commented that his solutions to life's problems were ingenious. She always sent, in the words of Jack Ferguson, an "I love you, man!" his way. She had an immense love for animals and not a conversation was complete until she was informed of all of the recent antics of each of our pets: Jordan, Annabelle, Thurnis, Zorak, Annie, Abby, Maisie, and the infamous Nathan Scott Phillips.
My mother was a strong, kind, beautiful and loving woman and will be missed so much by so many for the rest of our lives. I just wish there was a phone in heaven, I already have so many things to tell her that I know she would think were absolutely brilliant.
