I once had the privilege of meeting with this man and discussing at length specific areas of law and some of the most important societal changes of the past fifty years. He was scholarly in his analysis and comments, and his early support of those important societal changes evidenced not only an acute vision of justice, but also the real courage to act on that vision long ago. He lives on through his daughters and grandchildren.

My name is Lee Hon (Ole Miss Law School Class of 1990). I am the elected Criminal District Attorney of Polk County, Texas. I would like to express my condolences to Lillene and the entire Condon family. Professor Condon taught several classes that I took at Ole Miss between 1987 and 1990. He was one of my favorite professors and a true Southern gentleman. I recall fondly his stories about his beloved Kosciusko and his experiences as a lawyer in that community. He, and the other law faculty at Ole Miss, contributed greatly to a wonderful legal education that has served me well in my career. He will be dearly missed.
