I grew up down the street from Cathy during our childhood and reconnected with her in Fayetteville during orientation for our sons. I thought what a wonderful, outgoing, smart person she still was. God has a true angel. My prayers are with her family and sister.

I have never met a person more knowledgeable and dedicated to their profession than Cathy. She was always willing to send you that piece of documentation that was needed to clarify any position taken. I will miss picking up the phone and asking for help; she always did so with a smile. She will be missed by all. My prayers are with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Cathy was very special to so many people. Her attention to detail surpassed almost anyone I've known and her knowledge was great. She was always willing to take the time to help others understand the how and why of what they were doing. Even while dealing with cancer, she had a smile on her face and loved to laugh. I will miss her a lot and will miss our conversations. We will have conversations again one day.

Cathy was a wonderful person, I've known her during her her entire tenure at UAMS. I learned so much from Cathy I could never put it all in writing. However, the most important lesson was what a wonderful person she was, thoughtful, dedicated to both work and family, and the list goes on. She will be missed by so many........my thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

Cathy hired me almost 17 years ago to work in Cost Accounting. She had a wonderful memory for details...and could probably find the email documenting any decision! She was a wonderful co-worker, friend and mother. She will be missed by all.

Cathy gave me the opportunity to enter the world of cost accounting and I am very grateful for that. I always admired her will to fight Cancer and she fought a good fight. She loved her family so much and talked about them often. The last time I talked to her, she was weak, but she said her faith was strong. She is walking the roads of Heaven now, and I look forward to seeing her again someday.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Cathy was, indeed, an amazing woman who taught so many of us the meaning of love, life, and faith. I have spent the last 36 hours thinking of so many shared moments with Cathy, some of which related to when she was expecting Andy. God has another angel in Heaven and we all have special memories of her time on earth. My thought and prayers are with Eddy, Andy, Brad, Alice, and the rest of her family during this time of sorrow. Celebrate Cathy's life and let memories of good times comfort you.

Love,

Diana

Cathy - You were not only the one who hired me at UAMS but a valued friend. You made me laugh and I was always in awe of your amazing memory and knowledge of all things UAMS. Most especially you modeled to me as a young wife a devotion to family. You will be so missed.
