I just loved singing with Gene. She was such a great person. I remember her riding to Stuttgart with us and we laughed all the way. Several Christmases ago, TOTR sang at the home where she lived and she mouthed all the words to every song that we sang. She will be greatly missed.

Richard,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I still think of my mother often and you will too. However, as time goes by, the pain of your loss softens as your remembrances remain strong...

Gene was a treasure. She had a such a beautiful baritone voice. She stood right behind me on the risers in Top o the Rock Chorus. She always had a smile and such an easy way about her. I'm so happy I got to know her.

Sweet, sweet Gene! Gene was a member of Top of the Rock when I joined, a fellow baritone, and I always enjoyed her. I am happy I had the pleasure of singing for her last Christmas at the nursing home. She was unable to communicate very well, but it was very clear she enjoyed it and I just know she was singing along!!

My heart sank when I heard the news but smiles from the memories soon replaced the that initial feeling.
Gene was one of my buddies on the risers for many years in Top of the Rock Chorus. We'ed get into such trouble all the time cutting up. We would always fine some of the lyric so funny. Gene had such a fun sence of humor. She was such a treasure and I will always remember her. now I am going to look up all my Sweet Adeline Seniors so I don't feel the regret of not visiting them before they pass.
