Biography: Margaret Louise Frick died on October 9, 2012, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 89. Margaret was born on October 16, 1922, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a journalism degree in 1946. In her professional career she was a staff writer for the Arkansas Democrat, a U.S. District Court deputy clerk, and a support member of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Margaret volunteered at the NEW Center in Ft. Smith. Margaret was active in the First Lutheran Church in Little Rock and later in the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ft. Smith. She was active in the Lutheran Business Woman's Club and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Bond Frick of Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Molinas of Fairfax, Virginia, and Alice Rogers of Ft. Smith, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service is Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Ft. Smith. Graveside service is Monday, October 15 at 1:00 PM at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
