To The Clayton Family: Ms. Jane Clayton was a wonderful teacher but more importantly a wonderful person! She was much loved and admired by her students and the staff at St. Edward's School in Little Rock. I was privileged to be able to know her through school and church events at St. Edward's. Several of her former students returned to attend her funeral today at St. Edward's. Many others are in college or working and were unable to attend. What a great tribute to her memory!! She will be greatly missed!!! Reg Rogers St. Edward's Class of 1973

My life is only one of thousands she has changed as a great teacher. Though she has left this world, she lives on through all of her students, and we will miss her dearly.

I to lived in the Oak Forest area and had some classes with Jane. I remember her well, especially her smile. Seems she always had a smile. She was a light in the room and will surely be a light in her new home. Condolences to the family.

Mrs. Clayton was one of the best teachers a child could hope to have. I had the privilege of being in her 6th grade class room and 7th and 8th grade english/lit class. She was a wonderful motivator and educator. She will truly be missed. God bless her and her family.

Jane will be missed. She and Joann were 1 of 3 sets of twins that I remember in our graduation class, so it is hard to forget them. She was so much fun, and vivacious. Our prayers are for you and your family in this time of grief, but, God will give you the strength and peace that you need to get you through this.

I am so sorry to hear about Jane's passing. I haven't seen her in a long time but did talk to her before she started chemo. She didn't tell me she was this sick, only that she hoped to be well enough to go to her son's wedding. I have a lot of wonderful memories with Jane, Joann and Jerralyn. We were best friends and were together all the time. I always loved going to their house and spending the night over there. Their mother was so sweet and made us all feel welcome. Jane, we will miss you. I will pray for all of her family, she will be missed.

I am so sad to hear about Jane's passing. I haven't seen her in a long time but did talk to her right before she started chemo. We emailed back and forth a little until I guess she got so sick. She didn't tell me how bad it was, only that she hoped to be well enough to go to her sons wedding after the first of the year. Jane, Joann, Jerralyn and I were together all the time growing up. I have so many good memories of being at there beautiful home just talking and spending the night together. Their mother always made us feel so welcome. I will keep all her family in my prayers. Jane we will all miss you.

I haven't seen Jane in along time. Judy got her phone number and gave it to me, but I was to late to talk to my long time friend. We had so many memories together. Jane, Joann, Judy, and I spending the night with each other, at the Ellis's house, Judy's house or mine.So many nights together. Going to Fair Park Memorial to swim and lay in the sun all day. The 4 of us went everywhere together. We would go to Stuttgart Ar. and spend a week in the summer, with my grandfather. I was born in Stuttgart, so I had relatives living there. Jane, I love you and Joann. Jane will be missed by so many people. I will never forget you. !!! RIP MY FRIEND See you in Heaven. Jerralyn
