I've known Jane for over 20 years, but we never actually met. We met in an online community world, and became fast friends. We've spoken on the phone, exchanged letters and cards, and often shared our lives in a private forum for some of her other friends from VZones (the online community).

I loved and adored Jane. She was a good soul and had a kind and loving heart. I will truly miss her and our chats.

Rest in peace, sweet Jane. I hope you will continue to watch over me and my daughter Emerald as an angel as you did as my friend. You were loved.

I met Jane in a virtual community on the Internet. The community is called Dreamscape, and over the years is has brought together many people from all over the world. Though I never met Jane in person she was a part of my life for many years. She was there for me when my mother was suffering from cancer, sending cards and notes to cheer us both. She was also there for me when I married in 2008. Jane, and people like her, remind us that a a caring heart can be as warm across the miles as it is when you are in the same room. Jane may have drawn her last breath on Earth, but her spirit lives on amd shines in the hearts of many people she never even 'met'. May God bless and hold family and friends in this time of grief. Jane, or AJ as I called her, will be forever missed.

Jane & I went to Barnes nursing school together and remain friends thru cards and e-mail all these years. She sent notes to me after my husband died and she knew we were having trouble coping. I missed those notes and, when I hadn't heard from her for awhile, contacted her but she never let on how her health was. I especially remember when another class mate & I traveled to Brownsville for vacation and how well your family treated us. It's a very fond memory. Jane also came to my home both in Springfield and Litchfield. My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of a very gracious lady.

Jane was a wonderful friend. We met at the age of 18 in St. Louis when we entered nursing school and continued that friendship all these many years. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Melissa, and their families.
