Biography: Nancy Jane Goode, 58, of Little Rock, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012. Nancy was born in Little Rock on Aug. 24, 1953 and attended Hall High School. Nancy was a wonderful mother, loving daughter and sister, and a great friend who put the needs of her loved ones ahead of her own. She is survived by her mother, Willo Dean Goode, her sister, Beth Goode, and her three sons, Reed, Cory(Mickey), and Taylor(Micah) Willett, all of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, John T. Goode, and her brothers, Johnny and David Goode. The family would like to thank everyone who gave care and compassion to Nancy. Memorial services will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Friday, August 17 at 2pm. The family asks that memorials be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital and St. Paul Methodist Church. My condolences to the family, I was just thinking about Ms. Nancy when I got a call from Mary Boaz, who told me of Nancy's passing. I was very sad to hear of this. My memory of Nancy will always be her wonderful smile and her driving that convertible, hair blowing in the wind.

Nancy and Mary Boaz were my bestest friends when I lived in LR. We loved one another, laughed, traveled, and my life forever changed when I met these two. Although I have not seen Nancy in many years, she will ALWAYS be in my heart. She was kind, funny, and positive. I loved to be with her....Nancy, I know you are enjoying your new life in heaven. I hope to see you there someday...All my love to Beth, Ms. Goode, and Nancy and Chuck's wonderful sons. God Bless

It is so hard to think of our Earth without Miss Nancy. What a wonderful woman she was! She had that special ability to make the Sun shine through her eyes & on those around her. She treasured her three sons Reed, Corey & Taylor more than anything ... even life itself. It is with a sad heart that I write these words but I know that Nancy will be in my mind and my heart forever. She was so sweet and kind and fair and honorable. Nancy was truly the BEST and I feel very lucky ever to have enjoyed her friendship. Peace to you and your sons, Sweetie Pie. PEACE!
