Mrs. R.'s husband JASON was a friend of ours for many years. Although we did not know her directly, we certainly heard about this good woman through the lovely comments her dear husband shared. She must have been a delightful soul! We send you our sincerest sympathies; GOD surely has these two marvelous people together again for allllllllll Eternity in Heaven. (Please excuse us for being tardy in extending our condolences.)

To Carole, David, and Chris

I was truly blessed to have worked with your mother at Pulaski Vo-Tech. Although I was educationally prepared for the asst. director's position, it was your mother who provided me with the on-the-job training I needed. She was and still remains the most efficient person I've ever worked with.

One of my memories of your mother was one morning on the way to work, as we neared the Arkansas River bridge on Interstate 430, I observed that a driver seemed to lose control of his vehicle. Had your mother been driving, I probably wouldn't have given it a 2nd thought because I knew that she was an excellent driver. I asked your mother if maybe the driver had had a seizure. Well right as we started across, we both knew that we were dealing with black ice. Your mother immediately began to instruct me about not breaking and how to get to work safely without wrecking my car. About a 1/4th block from the school, your mother suggested that I turn off W. Scenic and park my car on the apartment complex parking lot rather than negotiate the bend in the street. So after I parked, we began to walk. As we started to walk, the driver of a pickup truck offered to take us the rest of the way. We arrived safely in the truck and on time.

In later years, after Pulask Vo-Tech, I looked forward to receiving the Christmas letter. We lunched from time to time. She spoke fondly of each of you, her grandchildren, and your father.

I visited her at Presbyterian Village. I know she loved life and all of her family. The memory of Marguerite will always be dear to me and my family.

Maggie will surely be missed. She was such a good friend to many people and so loved her children and grandchildren! I remember when she and Jason were in Paris one summer where I was too, studying French. We had fun eating out together and enjoying the sights. Jason told stories of being there during Liberation...I miss them both.
