Biography: Elizabeth T. Webster, 95, of Little Rock died July 22, 2012, at home. She was born December 2, 1916, to Mr. and Mrs. Woodlief A. Thomas in El Dorado, AR. She attended public schools there and in Batesville, AR, and was graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, after also attending Arkansas College, Batesville, and Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. On December 14, 1941, she married W. Charles Webster of Lincoln, NE. Employed by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Arkansas in 1955, she retired in 1981. Her father had been Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge from 1935 until his death in 1955. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Little Rock, for more than 75 years and a life member of the Methodist Women?s Society of Christian Service. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Larry Howell of Dallas, TX, one grandchild Sarah Howell Krzyzanowski and her husband David of Chandler, AZ, a great-granddaughter Julia Beth Krzyzanowski, four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, a grandson David Webster Howell, a sister Lois Thomas Wall, and two brothers, Woodlief A. Thomas, Jr. and Clarence M. Thomas. Visitation will be at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. officiated by Rev. Chris Cooper. Ruth, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember going over to your house and seeing her and your grandmother.
I lost my Mom on June 23. She had not been ill only had a headache for 2 days..

I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Webster at our dental office for the past 27 years. She was always a bright spot in my day when she was on my schedule. She loved her family and life in general. I will miss her sweet spirit!

I enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth through Ruth over the years. She was a woman with a strong spirit who will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially Ruth, Larry, Sarah, David and Julia. May her soul rest in peace.
