I have been looking for Robin on FB and the Internet for the last several months. I was saddened to see her obituary on line, but happy to see her picture and that she looked exactly as I remember her! She was always one of my favorite friends growing up in Little Rock!
Recently, she was so close geographically, but I had no idea that she was in Ashland, Oregon. I am sorry that I missed the opportunity to reconnect with her. There are some people that cross your life, that you never forget. Who knows that in adolescence which friends will make a mark on your life. Robin was one of those special friends. I remember when we were teenagers that Robin was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. How did I remember that as a young woman? I was concerned that something "bad" had happened to Robin and I was so relieved that she "made it". I am saddened at her passing. My heartfelt sympathies to Mero and her family. I will not forget my dear friend Robin.
Love, Missy Scheid Nance

I met Robin in Mt. Shasta at a twelve step meeting. I appreciated her so much, she always said it the way it was. She loved life and when she moved to Ashland, Or. she always came back to visit the Mountain and to enjoy a good meal, I felt fortunate to be able to sometimes enjoy doing these things with her. We often met Robin at Ammachi's Ashram in San Ramon Ca. She loved Amma and Amma loved her. I am sure Amma is helping her get situated in her new heavenly home. I miss Robin very much but I know she is in a beautiful peaceful place.

Words seem to fall short to mark the passing of a cherished and dear friend like Frances Robin Lindsay. What a sweet soul, with a kind and pleasing personality. Everyone who met her liked her immediately, as I did. Some 10+ years ago I met Robin, from the many years she attended spiritual retreats in the SF Bay Area. In between spiritual retreats Robin and I enjoyed many long, happy phone calls, catching up with each other's live and sharing spiritual truths. Robin was a person who had a deep and spiritual vision of life. She was a loyal and incredibly supportive, and compassionate friend. Robin had an infectious sense of humor and we enjoyed many giggles together. She also had a compassionate nature, that even when things may have gone wrong, did not gossip, but looked for the good always. I had the honor to be able to have said good-bye to Robin on the phone, before she passed, to convey my love and support to her, and that meant the world to me. Robin was a cherished friend that will be sorely missed. My sincere prayers go out to her other friends and family.

Mero - I was so saddened to learn of Robin's death. She was the "older cool girl" at Queens, and I will never forget how much her friendship meant to me - a new freshman. Because of my longtime friendship with cousin Lindy, Robin always included me and saw to it that my college experience was a positive and enriching time. She never met a stranger, and she certainly made a difference in all the lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Robin will be missed, she was an amazing friend, my go to person for support and general clarity. She loved her life, walking, snow shoeing, spiritual gathering Buddhist, Native American, Satsang for Amma.....we attend many of these functions together. I loved her no nonsense attitude when asking her opinion boy I got it. Plus one of the things I really enjoyed is Robin loved to eat so going out or having what ever she enjoyed her food.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Robin was one of my very best friends at Queens College. We both went separate ways and lost touch, but I smile when I think about our fun times together. My love goes out to her family. I hope she is at peace and will be there to meet me at the pearly gates when it is my time!!!
