Biography: H.G. Jack? Frost, Jr., age 80, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012. He was born June 4, 1931 in Little Rock to the late H.G. ?Jack? Frost and Nell Davis Frost. He attended Little Rock public schools; attended Hendrix College for one year; graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1952; attended Harvard Business School in Boston and London; attended and lectured at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and passed the CPA exam at the age of 21. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity, PIE fraternity, a life-long Methodist and a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. After serving two years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, he joined the staff of Russell Brown and Company. In 1974 Jack formed Jack Frost and Company and was a managing partner until 1980. During that time he was active in ?So for the Future?, served as president of the Arkansas Art Center and was elected to the Board of Trustees at Hendrix College where he served on the Financial and Endowment Committees. In 1981 a group of good friends asked Jack to join with them in acquiring American Fuel Cell and Coated Fabrics Company in Magnolia, which he and his business associates managed for several years. He loved his family, duck hunting and entertaining friends with Betsy. Jack is survived by two daughters, Becky Good and husband, Steve and Tricia Chaffin and husband, Stephen; five grandchildren, Christopher Good, Beverly Oliver, and Patrick, Alex and Matthew Chaffin and his fianc?e, Elizabeth ?Betsy? Gray. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St. on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Ave, Little Rock, AR 72205, Hendrix College, 1600 Washington Ave., Conway, AR 72032 or the Arkansas Art Center, 501 East 9th St., Little Rock, AR 72202. Tricia and Becky,
My heart is with you all today and in the days to come as you lay your father to rest. Your dad was such a dear, loyal, life-long friend to my father, as are all of the Frost family to the Davis family! Great memories and I am thinking of you all at this time of loss. Margaret and I have talked about how Jack and Milford must be whooping it up in heaven together!
My deepest sympathy to you and all your families,
Rebecca Davis

Becky and Tricia,
I was so very sorry to learn of your dad's death. As you know, I worked for him for several years at Russell Brown & Company, and then again at Jack Frost & Company. RB&C was the first company I worked for after graduating from college, and I learned a lot about accounting and the business world during my time as Mr. Frost's secretary. He was a good friend to me and my husband during our pharmacy school years. I will always remember how kind and generous he and your mother were to us. Please accept my deepest sympathy in this time of loss.

Jack was the reason I came to Little Rock in 1975. His enthusiasm for business and zest for life had a profound positive impact on me and helped me shape a career as a CPA. My condolences to his family and friends; peace and comfort to all.

Becky & Tricia,

We were sorry to hear about Jack. Besides being our neighbor at Cambridge Place, Jack was also my Bridge partner. I always enjoyed our visits. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult occasion.

To ALL of your Family,
Just read about Jack. I was surprised. I didn't know he had any physical problems. I guess the last time I saw him was in December at Gene's service. Please know our thoughts are with all of you in your loss.
I will remember all our Good Times in the summers when you came to Springdale. All were such fun even Tricia in a cast one year and Becky getting the bad side of a ski. Take care and keep in touch.
I didn't have your addresses. Love, Helen
