Biography: Terry D. Mahaffey, 81, of Little Rock passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. He was born August 3, 1930 in Memphis, TN to the late William T. Mahaffey and Mavis Louise Cathey Mahaffey. Terry was a former resident of Memphis and former employee of General Motors. He was a self employed Insurance agent, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marlene P. Mahaffey; daughters, Sherry Bennett and husband, Will of Weston, FL and Judith Thompson and husband, Wayne of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, Sheila, Tammy, Andrea and Amy; 5 great-grandsons and 5 great-granddaughters. A graveside service will be held at Arkansas State Veteran?s Cemetery on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Met and worked with Terry in the 7o's at 555. Seems no matter how hard I tried to fail, he wouldn't let me. Terry had more faith in his guys than we had in ourselves. Haven't seen Terry / Marlene in many years, but I never forgot them and the hard lessons I learned from him.
Terry was one of the good guys in the business / he had ethics.
Sad to hear of his passing !
