John, it has been an honor and privilege being your wife. I thought I knew you, but being able to be with you during your last days has put a whole new perspective on who you are. You handled this with such grace, bravery, and pure beauty. Never once did you complain, and even if I was just bringing you a glass of water or even just a straw, you always thanked me. I am so very proud of you, baby, you have been so strong. Now it is time for you to rest. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband. I will love you always, N.

My heartfelt condolences to John's wife and family. I knew John back in the day. John was a truly beautiful human being. His soft heart and engaging wit and sense of humor were a blessing to all who knew him. John knew how to make people smile and cared deeply for his friends. His expression, through his photography were a testiment to his deep sensitivity to all life.
