Biography: Johnnie Margaret Allison Moum, died March 27th, 2012. She was born in June, 1920 in Hattieville, Ar. the daughter of John W. and Eliza ( Menees) Allison. Johnnie graduated from Morrilton High School and was a sales agent in Transportation for American Airlines. She married the love of her life, Howard A. Moum, and they spent many happy years together traveling the world. Johnnie and Howard gave their support to many organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, the University of North Dakota, UAMS School of Nursing and UAMS Jones Eye Institute. The latest gift Johnnie gave was a bird aviary to Presbyterian Village for patients and visitors to enjoy for years to come. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Moum, her brothers James (Bill) Allison and JW (Jack) Allison from Morrilton, AR and sisters, Lois Allison, Lela Owen and Glenna Cowan of Morrilton, AR. She is survived by three nieces: Ann Allison Harris, honoree niece Jane (Cowan) Beasley of Little Rock, AR and Susie Stevens of Bend, Oregon; three surviving nephews: John H. Allison of Little Rock, AR, Leonard Allison Cowan of Santa Cruz, CA and Jack Allison of Morrilton, AR. and her Sister-in-law Ruth Allison. Dear friends also helped care for Johnnie including Nancy and John Russ, Beth Eubanks, and Della Mae Gulmon. The family would also like to thank the many caregivers at Presbyterian Village who gave Johnnie excellent care and treated her with love and respect. Gifts in memory of Johnnie may be sent to Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, AR. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton, AR on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. Condolences to the family may be expressed at ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Mrs Moum was a wonderful lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her at the bank. I know that she will be missed by so many. May you have peace in all the memories that you have of her.

I'm going to dearly miss seeing Miss Johnnie every day at Presbyterian Village. It's been a privilege getting to know her over the past 5 months and I will never forget her. Please accept my sympathy and condolences for your great loss.
