While I was in high school one of my 1st jobs was at Good Shepherd. That was back in 1997. It says alot about a man for someone to remember him from then until now. Mr. Benge always had a smile on his face and never did have a bad word to say about anyone. My Prayers are with his family during this time.

I was privileged enough to talk with Mr. Benge a number of times while visiting Roger and I always made sure he knew I appreciated what he did for our country in WW 2. I was further fascinated by a man who could fly those air craft into dangerous situations, complete the mission and return safely and prepare for the next. It was men like Hoyt Benge who kept our country from being taken over by a hateful leader who would have done the same un-speakable things on Amercan soil as he did in Europe. Not with Hoyt Benge around. God be with the Benge Family. I'm sorry I heard the news so late.

Dear Charlotte,

I saw Tonya today, and she told me about your dad. I am so sorry. May the Lord give you peace and comfort at this time.

Kaye and Michael,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have walked this path and know what this loss means. I also have complete faith that this world is not our home. God Bless and keep you.
