"Janice, Julie, John and Gulleys,
I was so sorry to hear about your loosing your mom (and step-mom). What wonderful memories I have of her and all of our families through our teenage and early adult years. I know you will miss her - we lost mother 8 months ago and I still can't believe it. We will be out of town for the services, but I will be thinking of you. All my love and condolences, Dana

She was a grand and great lady in the best of the Southern Tradition. My mother, Virginia Anold Welch Christie, considered her her dear friend. My sister, Leslie and I will always remember her many kindnesses after our mom became ill and at her death. Our deepest condolences to all the Hunt- Gulley family.

God Bless.

I want to express my sincerest sympathies to Mrs. Bookie Gulley's family and especially to her loving husband Mr. Bill Gulley. He simply loved and adored his "high school sweetheart" and only wanted to be there for any need that she may have had. A love like theirs was so fine and sweet ... the kind of love that most of us can only dream of.
Bless you, Sweet Bookie, for being so gracious and kind. God will enjoy having you in Heaven with Him.

Winston and I were saddened to hear of Bookie's passing. What great fun we had on Grandview as kids and what great memories we have of those days thanks to your mother. She hosted our bridesmaid luncheon and saw us through the passing of my parents. We will miss her and remember her with great fondness and gratitude.
