I love Dean like I love my own father. He was truly a "Man in Full," at least by the definition according to my 3rd favorite author Tom Wolfe. Dean will be missed and there is a hole in my heart where he used to be. I'm so glad Dean is in heaven, tripping the light fantastic, sitting with Jesus, telling David about how Denise and I are doing, and cluing David on to how John, the nephew he never met, has grown up to be a very fine young man. Dean, thank you for giving me your daughter Denise, who is the love of my life. Someday, when we all meet in heaven, we're going to finish the doubles game we started in Plymouth, Minnesota in 1986. This time, Denise and I will win. Love you Dean:)

Mr. Royer was always so friendly and fun when he and Dorothy were coming to church at Pulaski Heights Baptist. He loved my youngest son, who is also a red-head, and was very thoughtful and gracious to other people. He liked to talk about trains and train stations and seemed much younger than his years, even in the wake of ill health. He was a real gentleman. The world is a better place for his having been here!

I had the privilege of working (and playing) with Dean at Hollis and Company. He was truly one of a kind. You always knew where you stood with him/and I mean that in the most complimentary way. Condolences to all of his family, especially Dorothy.

Respectfully,

Don Blaylock
