Biography: Clyde E. Karnes, age 89, of Little Rock passed away February 28, 2012 in Fairview, TX. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church and a retired sales manager with Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages. During WWII, he served with the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Unit of the Army Air Corps in the Asian Pacific Theatre. Clyde was also a member of the US Air Force Reserves until 1955 following the war. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty of 64 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Connie Megee and husband, Tommy and Sharon Kell and husband, Gary; his two sons, Michael Karnes and wife, Terry and Christopher Karnes and wife, Robin; 9 grandchildren, Jill Johnson and husband, Richie, Phillip Megee, Chad Karnes, Matthew Karnes, Kristen Karnes, Karen Snow, Tony Kell and wife, Stacy, McKenzie Karnes and Allie Karnes and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Dr. Randy Hyde.
