Biography: Martha Helena Adamson died Monday, February 20, 2012. She was born February 25, 1919, in Fresno, California. Her parents were A.M. (Pat) and Ethel Elizabeth Fassett. She was married to Edward Vernell Adamson for 46 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Carole Jean Osmundsen of Little Rock and a daughter-in-law, Joan Frances Adamson of Placitas, New Mexico. She is survived by son, Dennis Edward and wife, Ellen Adamson of McKinleyville, California; son, John Fassett Adamson of Placitas, New Mexico; son-in-law and wonderful caregiver, John Rae Osmundsen of Little Rock; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons. She was past president of Fairview Elementary and Bret Harte Jr. High School PTA?s of Hayward, California and past Guardian of Jobs Daughters Bethel of Hayward, California. She lived in California for 69 years before spending some time in Placitas, New Mexico and Sparks, Nevada, finally retiring in Little Rock in 2001 to be with her daughter?s family.
