Biography: Patricia Ann Reagan Delony of Little Rock, Arkansas died at Arkansas Hospice at St. Vincent?s on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the age of 80. Pat was born to Bob and LaVerne Reagan in Danville Arkansas on September 9, 1931. She and her sisters Paula, Bobbie, and Marty were raised in Danville where their parents ran the post office. While attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville she met Lawson Leonard Delony, Jr. They were married on September 14,1952. Their first several years of marriage coincided with Lawson?s service as a pilot in the Air Force, after which they moved to Little Rock and had two children ? Diane and Lawson III (Len). At Danville High School, Pat was the president of the student body and a basketball player and cheerleader. She was an elementary school teacher and later belonged to the Junior League of Little Rock. She was a member at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral where she taught children?s Sunday School. Pat was known for her pride in her Irish heritage, her enjoyment of holidays and celebrations, and, especially, for her abundant love for children and for her family and friends. Pat is survived by her husband, Lawson Delony; her sister, Marty Stewart; her children Diane and Ashvin Vibhakar and Len and Rebekah Delony; her grandchildren Nathan, Malina, Abbey, Anna and Katherine; and by many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Paula and Bobbie. The family is grateful for the support of many family and friends, particularly, the care of Betty Russell and Bobbie Hughes. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many. Visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Monday, February 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and funeral services at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Tuesday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to St. Jude Children?s Hospital, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Arkansas Hospice at St. Vincent, or Alzheimer?s Arkansas. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

During my adolescent and teen years I lived just down the street from "Mr. and Mrs. Delony" and Diane and Len. We were all part of the neighborhood then. Years passed but I continued to keep up with them through my mother, sometimes seeing Lawson at a funeral (too many of those lately). Though sight unseen my thoughts have been with Pat, her illness, and with Lawson. It was with sadness that I saw that Pat has passed away. I will always remember her and the good times shared by all.

Lawson, Diane and Len, I'm so sorry to read about Pat's death. I am so glad that David and I got to visit with her at Nathan's house in December. I get tickled thinking about Diane snatching the cookie tray away from her. Much love to you, Margo
