Biography: Aileen Bringle Benton, 83, of Little Rock died February 2, 2012. She was born December 20, 1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, William K. and Ollie Strickland Bringle, and her husband Billy Frank Benton. Aileen is survived by one son Jim Benton wife Jennie and their daughter Lori all of Little Rock, one daughter Becky Benton Howeth and husband Bob and their children Wes and Amy all of Little Rock, and one great-grandchild. Aileen was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was an excellent care giver, and always willing to take on the heavy responsibilities of loving care and assistance for her parents, children, and her husband's parents, as well as her husband. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties for all of her friends and she always welcomed our "goober" friends into our home. The family would like to thank the staff of Presbyterian Village and the medical team in Coronary Care Unit at St. Vincent's Hospital. Per her request Aileen will be cremated with no memorial service. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 1700 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212, or a favorite charity.

Jim & Becky - Your mom always made me feel like a part of the family. We were "goobers" but it was fun and gave us all some great memories.

Jim and Becky,
I will miss you Mother very, very much. We all loved spending the night at your house, and I always loved her strawberries.
