To Gay, Abigail and Family,

Our Gail will be deeply missed by all whose lucky lives she touched. Fun, wise, comical and philosophical are descriptions seldom used for any one person, but Gail was all that and more.

We waited patiently for many months after Gail and Gay closed ABIGAIL'S to literally beg Gail to come to work at ELLE. When she said "yes", we celebrated for days. She was a classy, clever and resourceful associate full of ideas and unique flair. When we announced ELLE'S closing due to Vic's severe health problems, Gail worked tirelessly until the last days. What a woman!

The Lord bless you all, and keep you well in this impossibly sad time. Gail will surely be a rare and wry guardian angel for us all.

With awe and love,
Rita Mitchell-Harvey and Vic,in spirit

I've tried to call several times but get no answer. Gail was one of my very first friends, back to Sunday School at Christ church and then when I moved to Beverly Place when we were both 10. We shared so much growing up including being God Parents to each others first borns. I have missed her these past few years but she will always have a special place in my heart. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family.
