Biography: Juan Sebastian 'Seabass' Nunez-Duron left this earthly life to go be in eternal peace on the evening of November 21, 2011. He was born on May 14, 1978 at home in a villa named '14 points' in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras to Victoria Isabelle Duron and Mario Nunez. He traveled to the United States when he was 21 and decided to stay and make a home. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in International Business from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He worked for almost 10 years at Ally Bank, formerly GMAC. He is survived by his precious daughter, Gabrielle Marie Nunez, his mother, Victoria Duron, his, father Mario Nunez and two brothers, Mario Nunez of Honduras and Tao Koehling of Berlin, Germany. He is also survived by Jennifer Ballinger Nunez-Duron whom he took as his wife on September 3, 2011. He will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and countless friends that loved him deeply. A memorial Service for Sebastian will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home in Little Rock. Please sign the online guest book at www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Was going through old photos from Bank of America and my old phone and just learned today after googling everyone I worked with and learned of Sebastian's passing. In 2005-2006 we worked together at the banking center in NLR, brought our girls together Lahani (mine) and Gabby to play. I would make fun of Sebastian because he always looked into the mirror excessively to check on his hair and always filled the workplace with his freggin Cologne you could smell a mile away; he was the Johnny Bravo of the team. I remember backing into his 98 Purple Honda Accord in the parking lot when it was raining hard and made a deal with me. I get him a gift certificate from Road House Grill and he does submit a claim. He was funny, he was stubborn in his ways, always talked Gabby and his passion to finish college to get it out of the way... he was Brother I never had, I was the Sister he never wanted. Worked out well in our workplace environment lol... Bummer to learn his life was cut short.. just shocking years late I am able to find out on his passing.

When he transitioned from our department to a new position I had the opportunity to tell him how much I appreciated his leadership, and would miss him being my Operational Manager. I am so very sorry to hear of the loss on this earth of Sebastian Nunez. My husband, Allen Danforth and I met him when we were ministering in his home country, Honduras, Central America. We grew very fond of him and were very pleased when he was able to move to the United States.

I worked at ally for several years and i am deeply saddened to hear of sebastian death. i can say that it was a blessing to have known him and learn from his ambition and determination to rise through the ranks of business. that speaks alot to his character and his ability to rise to the top of any expectations and goals set by companies. i respect his humbleness and attitude towards people and i can say that i learned alot from him. I worked at ally for several years and during my time there it was great to have had a manager with a humble attitude and caring sense for us. he helped us all with the learning the collection process and never closed his ear to opinions from us. I met Seabass just over a year ago and had the pleasure of hanging out with him and Jen on a number of occasions. Sebastian was like a brother to me, we go back many years, we were neighbors in our hometown in Honduras and shared many memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Sebastian at Ally for the past 7 years. We were on the same team for about 2 years and sat beside each other and I got to know him very well. He later became my manager after he was promoted. He named our team the Usual Suspects after one of his favorite movies. I loved working with Sebastian...he had a great sense of humor and he always treated me with respect. I will treasure my memories of him and what I will remember most is his beautiful smile.

I worked at Nuvell/Ally from 07-08 and had the pleasure of working around Sebastian. This was sad to here. He was always smiling. May his family, friends, wife, and the Ally family find comfort in the Lord. God bless. He will be missed

I was a teacher of Sebastian in Honduras. What I remember most is that for such a big guy he had an incredibly soft heart. He had a maturity beyond his years willing to work out any problem. We didn't stay in contact very much after he left Honduras but I always liked to think that he was out there bringing joy to other people. I pray his daughter is told many wonderful stories about the man her dad was/is.

Sebastian you will be greatly missed ..I will miss seeing you at the gym and i will never forget when you gave me your business card last year and told me to call anytime i have a problem..when we switched Om's our team was like "No way, we don't want to leave Sebastian" and remember all of us stopped you and told you to rescue us back to you and u said " it will be okay guys".. Then when you moved to the 2nd floor i got to see you ocassionally and told you i was glad to see you and that i missed your presence on the other floor..thanks for the fun times and being a great leader..Missing u Carla Britt

Sebastian was a great friend and co-worker. I cannot believe that he won't be walking by and talking to us any more. He gave me one of the best pieces of advice in regards to career that I ever received. His smile could light up a room and I am so sad that we will never get to see it again.

Sebastian was one of the best OMs that Ally/GMAC could ever have.. He actually cared about each and ever person.. you could go to him with anything, if there was a problem, he would actually do something about it, rather than some who would just listen and not do anything.. he would sit down, make contact with you, listen to you, and make sure something was done, to fix the problem...and wouldnt stop until it was fixed... I will miss Sebastian deeply.. and I pray that God gives his family and close friends strength during this difficult time.. God bless..

I had the privilege of knowing Seabass for only a short period of time, but I am so thankful for that time! He came took celebrate mine and another friends birthday when he barely knew us! There are no words to describe the emptiness that is left behind with the departure of Sebastian. He came into our lives in 8th grade and we grew up to be great friends . Sebastian was a very sweet , kind and happy person full of life , he came down to visit us for our 10 year high school reunion in 2010 and we got to catch up on our lives . I have not seen or heard of Sebastian in many years, since high school, but I remember him as a very nice guy and as a real gentleman. I am sad to find out that he has passed away in the prime of his life, leaving so many loved ones behind. I am happy for the life he lived and what footprint he has left behind.
