Biography: Rose Wood Schuster, 89, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011. She was born January 1, 1922, in Gadoros, Hungary. At the age of 16 she moved to Canada and from there to the United States. Rose attended interior design classes at the University of Arkansas and became a designer for Pfeifer-Blass Department Store. She is survived by her husband Roy, of 48 years. Two daughters; Joan Sack of Hot Springs, Billie and Ed Shaffer of Houston, Texas and one son; Marshall and Nancy Schuster of Little Rock and 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Rose is also survived by her family in Canada; three sisters, Margaret Sellers of LaSalle, Ontario, Madalena Julia Vedder of Windsor, Ontario, Sophie Judith Salsette of San Francisco, California and her brother, Robert Louis Black of Windsor, Ontario. She will truly be missed in the lives of many. The family wishes to thank Dr. Benny Green and the kindness shown by the staff of St. Vincent?s Infirmary.
