Biography: Phynis Laneita Stewart Hardy, age 97, formerly of Lafayette, Tennessee, died peacefully at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on November 2, 2011. She was born in Texas and raised in Lafayette, Tennessee, where she owned her own dress shop and where she met the man of her dreams, William McCombs Hardy, Sr. They were married in 1970 and lived in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was predeceased by her loving husband, and is survived by two sons: William McCombs Hardy, Jr. and wife Victoria of Greenville, South Carolina, and Mosley Wilson Hardy, II and wife Leslie of Easley, South Carolina; 4 grandchildren: John Paul Hardy, John Shirey and Jenna Shirey; and was predeceased by William Christopher Hardy, May 2009. Other loving family members include Doug and Laura Clark, Ken and Cathy Servatius, Dick & Susan Coolidge, Laura Coolidge, Raymond Coolidge, Carmen G. Higgins and Eric Goings.
