Biography: Dera Frazier Hembree, 88, of Little Rock, passed away October 20, 2011. She was born February 12, 1923, in Okolona, Arkansas to John H. Frazier and Erva Peeples Frazier. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.T. Hembree, her daughter, Dera Joyce Thompson, her brother, Doyle T. Frazier, and her son-in-law, Donald G Stolzer. Dera was a retired state employee, having worked most of her 38 years of service as an Administrative Assistant for the Disability Determination for Social Security Administration. She is survived by daughters Sue Stolzer of Little Rock and Patricia Hembree Slayden and husband Joseph of Hot Springs, five grandsons, Jeffrey Stolzer and wife Nikki, Todd Stolzer and wife Brooke, Kevin Stolzer and wife Alicia, Kelly Thompson and partner Curtis Davis, and Keith Thompson and wife Shawn, and seven great grandchildren. The family expresses sincere thanks to all the staff at Briarwood Nursing & Rehab Center for the loving care provided to our mother and grandmother. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Sunday October 23, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Monday October 24, 2011 at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
