Though I had not seen Missy since the mid 1950s when we were both at St. Louis University, I did receive the occasional greeting card from her later while I was still in Iraq. I remember her fondly not only for her charm and elegance, but also for her love of life. Please accept my condolences and my sympathy to all her family.

Missy was my roommate at St. Louis U. To say she was a character is an understatement. Bright, zany, smart as a whip, she enriched my life. I can still hear her saying, "Let's do and say we didn't."

Deepest condolences to her family.

Missy was one of my favorite teachers at Forrest Heights JH. At this young age, I thought she was so pretty, elegant and smart. I ran into her throughout the years in LR,especially at art events. She stayed pretty, elegant and smart throughout her life. She was a fabulous role model and made a lasting impression on me. In the Gazette article I read that her grandaughter said, "she taught me how to be a lady" Yes, Anne, she taught us all how to be ladies. May God comfort and bless all of you.

We have been out of the country and were saddened to learn about Missy's death on our return. I enjoyed serving on the AR Arts Center Board of Trustees with Missy. She was always thoughtful and supportive of the arts center and of the arts in general. Mike and I send our condolences and best wishes to Phil and the family.

I first met Missy at French conversation courses at UALR back in the summer of 1990. Even then, I was inspired by her positive attitude and energy (and so impressed that she had done so much traveling in France!). During the next 20 years, I often had the chance to visit with her at French club and she really was the kind of person whose presence could light up the whole room--and always so genuinely friendly to EVERYONE. She hosted some wonderful French club parties in her beautiful home. I know she will be missed by so many people, and I would like to express my sincere condolences to her family.

I am deeply saddend and sorry for your loss. Missy was a wonderful docent partner at the AAC many years ago and taught me about more than art! She was a 'bigger than life' personality that her friends, family, and the community cherished and will miss greatly. My deepest sympathy is with each of you.

I knew Missy beginning about 1950 when the Wright family lived on Country Club -- I lived a block away on Stonewall Road.

She was the big sister of the three girls and she was solid as a rock and always friendly to me. Her little sister, Bridget, was my friend and was in my grade, so I wasn't close to Missy.

But I knew her all these years and she was ALWAYS gracious, friendly and nice with a lovely, vibrant spirit.

What a loss for Phil and her family. I send you my condolences. I will miss Missy and always remember her fondly and respectfully. She was a grand person who lived a grand life and gave so much to so many.

Mr. Anderson, Kate, Jess & family. I am so sorry to hear about Missy. I always liked Missy, she was so sweet to me any time I saw her at W&A. Please know I have thought about you during this time and pray for you to have comfort now and always. Memories are good to talk about, talking about Missy is healing. Those we love so much are always with us. Cherish the memories, time will help ease the pain. Families are forever.
