Biography: Myrtle Edna (Fields) Anderson, age 97, of Roland, departed this life August 10, 2006. Born March 31, 1909 in Augusta, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Nora (Bonar) Fields, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Dimmit Haughaboo and Marshall G. Anderson. Survivors include her son, C. Dave Haughaboo and wife Jennie of Roland; grandchildren, Brent David Haughaboo and wife Lesley of Little Rock, and Laura Ann Gist and husband Trey of Marianna; great-grandchildren Hannah Claire Haughaboo and Andrew David Haughaboo; sisters, Mary Hanson and Dorothy Chandler, both of Maysville, Kentucky; brothers, Thomas Fields and Bill Fields, both of Maysville, Kentucky, and Eugene Fields of Titusville, Florida. Private graveside services were held at Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County or to a favorite charity.
