Dear Burke, John, Ashley, Brooks, Kelly and Gail: I was sorry to hear of Mescal's passing. She and all your family were so kind to me (Keith) when I lived in Sherwood. We will always remember with gratitude how Mescal, along with Nyna and Geneva welcomed Laura into the Dunn family some twenty-two years ago. Truly you are Laura's favorite branch on Patrick's family tree. But then, of course, you all would be as your roots are in Western Arkansas in such wonderful, God blessed places as Booneville, Dayton, Greenwood and the surrounding countryside between them. May God bless each of you at this sad time.

Mescal did a wonderful job as the Extension Food Marketing Specialist and I had the greatest respect for her. I still enjoy using her cookbook and many of the recipes she put out through Penney Wise Food Buys.
