Biography: Josephine ?Ine? Moffett Kee Dutton, age 96, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Jo was born on the banks of the Concho River in a tent at a railroad camp in Christoval, Texas. She graduated from high school in Henrietta, Texas before moving to San Antonio, Texas where she married Curtis Lewis Kee who died in 1966. They moved to Little Rock where Jo began her career as a buyer with the M.M. Cohn Department Store at the corner of 5th and Main Street. She was the buyer for the infants, children?s and teen department for over 38 years, retiring in 1972. In November of 1972 she married Joseph E. Dutton moving to Dallas where she worked at the Apparel Mart for several years. Joseph died in 2000 and Jo moved back to Little Rock in 2002. She loved fishing on Cedar Creek Lake in Gun Barrel City, Texas as well as Lake Hamilton. Jo is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Kee Knight of Little Rock; one son, Byron Dutton and wife, Trish of Argyle, Texas; one niece, Marilyn Moffett Luke and husband, Bernard of Grapevine, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Grissom and husband, Hardy, Kim Knight, Melissa Allen and husband, Mark, Jon Dutton; 5 great-grandchildren, Benjamin Smith, Michael and wife, Jennifer Smith, John and Jake Grissom, Kathrine Allen; a best friend Evelyn Shelton of Austin, Texas and her granddaughter Melissa?s dog Max. There will be a visitation Thursday evening August 18, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home followed by a graveside service Friday, August 19, 2011 at Roselawn Cemetery at 11 a.m. officiated by Reverend Jeff Hampton. Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to Pulaski County Humane Society or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116. In reading your mom's obituary it looks like she had a full life. Very sorry for your loss. This is a sad time, but also a time of family to reminese and share memories.
