Biography: Doris Robinson Matthews, 92, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Friday, July 22, 2011. She was born February 11, 1919, in Tucker, Arkansas, daughter of Dr. Glen Moore and Anna Belle Buie Robinson. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Harry M. Matthews, Sr.; son, Joseph F. (?Buck?) Matthews, and seven siblings. She is survived by sons, Harry M. (?Butch?) Matthews, Jr. and wife, Mary Lou of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Bill Matthews and wife, Ginger of Little Rock, Arkansas; and James C. (?Buddy?) Matthews and wife, Carol Ann of Coppell, Texas; daughters, Marilyn M. Lindgren and husband, Ken of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; and Elizabeth M. (?Becky?) Peach and husband, Herb of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Anna Belle Wainwright of Shreveport, Louisiana; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Doris loved spending time with her family and cooking. She leaves us many wonderful and happy memories. There will be a graveside service in Oak Ridge, Tennessee at a later date.
