I am so sorry for your loss. She was an absolutely lovely person and I consider it an honor to have worked with her so closely. She would stay late after work and talk with me on a personal level and I should have told her how much that meant to me. You are in my thoughts.

While I didn't work directly with Cynthia, I got to know her quite well through our committee work at PCA. She was a strong, kind, funny woman who helped so many people with her knoweldge and love. There are so many holes left with her passing. My thoughts and prayers to her family. She was one of a kind.

Dear Uncle Bill, Matt, & My Sweet Lindsey,
I wish I could be there during this time of sorrow but please know that I am there in spirit. Aunt Cindy was such a wonderful & special person, really no one else like her. I have been doing exactly what Uncle Bill and you all have been doing- going through photos and the memories are just pouring in. She will be Greatly Missed and Is Already Missed So Much! Not only was Aunt Cindy a Beautiful person inside and out but she was funny which was one of my favorite things about her.
My heart goes out to my family at this time as I so badly hurt with you all. I will continue to keep everyone in my prayers. I love you all so very much.

I worked with Cynthia for many years and though she was my surpervisor, she also became my friend. I have great respect for her. One thing we shared was our love for our family and it is them that pray for now as she will be so greatly missed. My prayer will be for peace and comfort in the hearts of those who loved her so dearly..

Cynthia was my first career supervisor as a new social worker and I owe much of what I know today from her supervision and tutelage. When I grew my 'wings' as a clinician, she recognized it before I did and nudged me out of my comfortable nest and into a promotion with it's new challenges and opportunities. While this left her department short staffed, she selflessly did so with a bigger picture in mind. I am forever grateful.
My heartfelt condolences to the family and also to the social work profession for your (our) loss.

My heart goes out to the Forbess family with the loss of Cynthia. Lindsey, remember all those years in the Girl Scouts when your Mom, Mrs. Jones and I were the leaders? It took the three of us to come up with ideas, projects and activities to keep all you girls occupied! I loved your mother's sense of humor and her ability to analize every situation.

It is so tragic that Cynthia's life was cut short. I am keeping you all close in my heart in the coming days.

I had the great pleasure of working with Cynthia for about 5 years when just out of college. She helped to mold me into the hard worker and the caring person I have become. During the years working with Cynthia, she was my boss, she became a great friend and confidant, and she was a irreplaceable mentor to me. She never failed to assist and guide me with whatever I needed to complete or comprehend and I as well as many others will dearly miss her. My prayers go out to her family in these tough times. May God bless you all.
