Biography: Edwin Leo Osburn, a native of Arkansas born July 25, 1926, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. He was a resident of Andover Place in Little Rock for the past two years. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Navy as a signalman in the South Pacific on the Oil Tanker, the USS Pecos. He worked in the Oil Industry as an Auditor spending 17 years overseas in Venezuela S.A. Leo, as he was known by his friends, loved music, especially Big Band music. He loved playing the drums in his younger years, loved good food and good fun. He was faithful to his friends. He had a quick wit and a sense of humor with a remarkable zest for life. He is survived by his two daughters, sons-in-law, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren all residing in Texas. A funeral service will be held at the Ruebel Funeral Home at 6313 W.
