I know your hearts are breaking, & you feel the joy has gone out of your life. I am so so sorry for your loss. As I read this passage from Psalm 147, I pray it will bring some comfort to you. "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." May the Lord bring healing to your hearts.

Kyle was a fine young man, good friend and neighbor. We shared a love for cats. Lanny took care of his little gray kitty and made sure the older cats didn't bother her. We will miss Kyle and his smile.

Mr. and Mrs. McGowan,

I was so glad to hear from Mrs. Ellen that you two remember me. Kyle and I had one of those young relationships that had its' typical ups and downs. Our ups were super happy. Kyle was always silly and could easily make me smile. He would do anything to make me happy or to get what I needed. Everyone who knew us never thought we made any sense, but I knew him, the real Kyle. His accomplishments and always believed in him. Earlier this year we had a very in depth conversation about God and his desire to do better in life and I will ALWAYS wish I had done or said more to him. We even spoke about how crazy he was to be excited to get a new snake and how thankful I was he never brought a snake around when we dated. He was happy last time we spoke. I still have his stuffed turtle he gave me about 7 years ago! I will never ever forget him. Thank you for being so kind to me when we came to visit you and for the trip to Dallas!! I will cherish those memories and I hope you can too. He knew what great parents he had!
My heart is sad but may God be with you through this time to give you and your family comfort and know that he was happy.

Dear Lynn & Ellen,
Our thoughts, prayers, love and sympathy go out to your both. You have now joined a fraternity of parents who have lost their children. That fraternity brought comfort to Pearson and I when we lost our son, Ben. Their existence proves that you can continue on with your lives, that you must not let despair settle into your being and that in time you can heal. Then you can remember to be thankful for the period of time he was physically in your lives & the joy his presence gave you.

I am so blessed because god brought Kyle into my life .my mom passed away a month ago and he helped me through such a difficult time. For that, I will love and remember him forever. He is my friend. I will miss him. I want his parents to know that he talked about them all the time during our chats which lasted for hours . I have never met them; I feel like I know them. I am hoping kyle look my mother up in heaven. She would love him as well.

I had the pleasure of living in Little Rock with Kyle over the past 11 years of my life. We lived in the same apartment complex as well for several years. My last conversation with Kyle was Friday night of Riverfest, May 27th, 2011 and he was his happy self. We discussed a new movie coming out with the guy that is on his Facebook page (Daniel Day Lewis), the music that was on at Riverfest, and life in general. Kyle was a joy to be with, and always made me smile. My thoughts and prayers are with Kyle and his family!
