Biography: Philomena “Minnie” Marino Corcini, age 95, of Little Rock, died July 14th, 2006. Minnie was born in Merrick, New York where she graduated from high school and later met her husband to be, John Corcini. Starting in 1947, they owned and operated several restaurants in Roosevelt, Freeport and Baldwin, New York. After 25 years, they retired to Florida. John died in 1990 and Minnie recently moved to Little Rock to be near her daughter Frances. Minnie was a life long Roman Catholic. She was very active until her late eighties, and enjoyed dancing and bowling. She is preceded in death by her husband John and grandson Albert Otten, II who both died in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Frances Otten and husband Al of Little Rock, a son Charles J. Corcini and wife Helene of Manchester, Connecticut, 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 4 great-grandsons and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
