Biography: Bruce Eugene Drawbaugh Jr., 95, of Little Rock, AR, went home on May 17, 2011 to be with Jesus and his wife Betty, the love of his life. He was born June 29, 1915 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He moved to Little Rock from Syracuse, New York in 1955. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Estricher Drawbaugh, his parents, Bruce Eugene Drawbaugh Sr. and Lillian Smith Drawbaugh, and his sister, Elizabeth ?Betty? Bushey, all of Harrisburg, PA. He is survived by his loving family, two sons, Stewart Drawbaugh of Little Rock, Gary Bruce Drawbaugh and his wife Shirley of Conway, AR, two grandchildren, Doug Drawbaugh and his wife Jennifer of Greenbrier, AR, and Danny Drawbaugh of Little Rock, two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren Elizabeth Drawbaugh of Greenbrier, AR. In 1941, he helped build B-29 bombers during World War II. He retired from USF&G in 1981. Bruce joined St. Paul UMC in 1955. He was a counselor, and an avid volunteer. He was chairman of the church trustees, and he was a soloist in the chancel choir for 40 years. He presented the church with chimes in honor of his wife Betty. He worked on the stained glass windows at St. Paul UMC. He was also a member of the Masons. He lived at Conway Healthcare. The family would like to thank all of the staff and doctors for all the love and care they showed Dad. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Road, Little Rock, AR, officiated by Reverend Blake Bradford.
