Bill and I go back to 1968 when I started in the Banking business. I will miss not seeing him at the Tee box on Saturday mornings. Bill was a friend and what I consider a great banker. Sorrows go out to his family.

Dear Paula, Jennifer, Anna and family,
I just wanted to let you know what how much I valued the knowledge Bill had about the trust business. We met with the merger of Worthen and Union and I always could count on Bill to explain the nuances of the trust business to me. He was also a good friend that I enjoyed getting to know him over the years. He will always hold a special place in my heart as I know he will yours.
My prayers and condolences,
Cathy

As Sales Manager for BancorpSouth Asset Management & Trust, I had only a few opportunities to work with Bill during his brief tenure with our Bank. What impressed me about Bill was his obvious devotion to and love for his wife and daughters. Almost every sales conversation between us would somehow end with a story about Paula or "the girls". He was a fine man. We share your sorrow.
