Biography: Aurelia Victoria Rosiak "Lee" Davis passed away on Thursday, April 14th. Aurelia was eighty-six years old. Aurelia was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls parish in Little Rock. Aurelia was the daughter of Walter Rosiak and Maryanna Kulesza Rosiak of Chicago, Illinois. Aurelia was very proud of her Polish heritage. Her parents came from Poland to live in Chicago before Aurelia was born. Aurelia is preceded in death by her loving husband Stuart, daughter Rebecca, and granddaughter Marlena and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Adele Kopke of Wauconda, Illinois, her children Patrick Davis and wife Julie of Arlington, Texas, Glenn Davis and wife Janet of Little Rock, Colette Campion and husband Don of Arlington, Texas, Kathy Dickinson of Little Rock, and Chris Davis of St. Anthony, Minnesota. Aurelis is survived by sixteen grandchildren: Debbie Cooper, Jon Davis and wife Amy, Michael Davis and wife Pam, Eric Davis, Susanna Davis, Matthew Davis, Jillian Austin and husband Dreu, Warren Davis and wife Allison, Katherine Mentzer and husband Drew, Laura Campion, Glenn Campion and wife Emily, Whitney James, Justin Davis, Patrick Davis, and Natalie and Angela Holle. Aurelia is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren: Nathan, Chance, Billy, Skylar, Chloe, Jack, Samantha, Scarlett, Maxwell, Thomas and Hannah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Aurelia loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than life itself. They were the center of her world. She beamed with pride when she was with her family. Her favorite topic of conversation was her children and their accomplishments. Aurelia had the ability to make each one of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren feel they were her favorite, and each of them were. Aurelia was a real "fashionista" who loved dressing up and going places. She was a fashion model during World War II and caught her future husband Stuart's eye when he was stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Station. Aurelia was a cheerful, energetic, and very social person who loved people. She had a special gift for remembering details about the lives of everyone she met. Anyone who met Aurelia instantly loved her because of her genuine interest in them. Aurelia, "Lee," "Mom," "Grandma," and "GaGa" will be missed more than words can express. She was the family matriarch and the glue that held the family together. Her pride, devotion and love for her family are the qualities that made her the person we love so much. She will be remembered with all of the heartfelt love and respect she bestowed on her family. We love you with all our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aurelia's honor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas, 200 South Commerce, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201. Visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home at six o'clock in the evening on Sunday, April 17th, followed by a rosary at seven. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church at two o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, April 18th.
