Biography: Cornelia Taylor, 59, of Little Rock, sister of Larry Taylor, died Thursday at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1952; the daughter of Howard P. and Edwina Lund Taylor who preceded her in death. She was a 45 year resident of the Conway Human Development Center .She attended the Holy Souls School for Exceptional Children, now known as the Allen School, which was founded by her Mother in 1958. She is survived by her brother, Larry?s wife Peggy Taylor; her niece, Meg and her husband, Jim Chase, and their three children; her niece, Mimi and her husband, Jim Hugg, and their two children; and James Taylor, her nephew. Cornelia?s family will be forever grateful for the loving care that she received from the caring staff at the ?Colony? as CHDC was once known, especially the direct-care staff in 5 Cedar; the Conway Regional staff and Dr. Garry Stewart. A memorial funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at Our Lady of The Holy Souls, 1003 North Tyler Street, Little Rock with Msgr. John O?Donnell officiating. Memorials may be made to the Conway Human Development Center Parent Association, 150 E Siebenmorgen Road, Conway, AR 72032. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Larry and family: She is in Heaven now in the Peace of Christ! You are a good and faithful servant in how you have cared for her all of her life. We greatly admire your tenacity in ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive the proper care and resources. Larry & family thank you for being a great son & brother. I knew your Mom and Cornelia at the time our son was attending Holy Souls Exceptional School.
I pray you have peace that they are both in the arms
of Our Lord and Cornelia is whole. Our son is at

Larry, I'm so sorry for your loss. I followed your efforts in the paper in defending the rights of Cornelia and other disabled people. You were a good brother. I hope everything else is going well for you and yours.

We're so sorry for the loss of Cornelia. She was so much a part of your everyday life, and we know there will be a huge void for you.
You are a good son and brother. Feel comfort in knowing that you made her happy, and she knew she was loved.
