  • Laura: I was saddened to read your mom's obituary in The Herald. Losing a parent is not easy - both my Mom and Dad have passed away - but watching them age and struggle can be just as hard. My Mom suffered from Parkinson's, and the dementia associated with it, so I have an understanding of what you have been thru. As I said, it's not easy but we both know they are all in a better place.

I just wanted you to know I was thinking of your family and offer my deepest condolences. When things settle down, and if you choose to, I'd love to hear from you.
