Sigrid Wolffs Wright, 81, of Little Rock, died on Saturday, September 10, 2005. She was the widow of J. Dexter Wright who preceded her in death in July 2004. She was the daughter of Else Spieker Wolffs and Harry Wolffs.Sigrid immigrated to New Orleans, LA on December 31, 1951 with the sponsorship of her Uncle and Aunt Erwin and Emma Spieker. She entered the school of nursing and following graduation she worked on the infectious disease department of Charity Hospital for 34 years. She retired in the fall of 1984 and moved to Little Rock. She and Dexter were married in 1986. She is survived by her cousin and best friend Dr. Gisela Spieker of Little Rock, two nieces, Dr. Dorothea DeCampo and Christiana Koenig of Germany and sister-in-law, Virginia Morris of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by a stepson John Wright and his wife Cathy of Houston,TX and stepdaughter, Jeanne Wright of San Francisco, CA. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by one sister, Ruth Wolffs Koenig Langenfeldt all of Germany. A Christian funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor James Walter officiating. Internment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home.
