Obituary Notice

Evelyn Joy Branch Moore, age 107, of Little Rock died May 5, 2005. She was born on June 1, 1897 in Little Rock to the late William and Rosie Perkins Branch. She was the only remaining Charter Member of the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She was an avid Arkansas Travelers and Razorbacks fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Moore and her daughter, Barbara Ann Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Betty Wassell of Little Rock; her 3 grandchildren, John Randolph Wassell Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Jacksonville, FL, William Moore Wassell and his wife Irene of New Iberia, LA, and Joy Ann Wassell of Little Rock; 5 great-grandchildren, Stephen Wassell and his wife Shari of Dunwoody, GA, Susan Staveley and her husband Robin of Alpharetta, GA, William Wassell and his wife Angela of Ruston, LA, Jennifer Kaumeyer and her husband J.P. of Chandler, AZ, Becky Wassell of New Iberia, LA, and Candyce and Deidre Gallagher of New Iberia, LA; 6 great great grandchildren, Samuel and Ansley Wassell of Dunwoody, GA, James and John Wassell of Ruston, LA, Elizabeth Staveley of Alpharetta, GA and Gracie Kaumeyer of Chandler, AZ . She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon at Oakland Cemetery followed by a celebration of Evelyn's life at 1:00 p.m. at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
