Anna Marie Aloi Scerbo
Obituary NoticeAnna Marie Aloi Scerbo, age 93, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey where she attended high school. After 50 years in the floral business in Jersey City she and her husband Joseph, who died in 2003, moved to Little Rock, in 1997. Anna was a devoted Catholic having membership at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jersey City for 50 years and Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church in Little Rock where she was a member of the alter guild and for the past 6 years helped decorate the alter for Christmas and Easter. She also volunteered in the Food Pantry of Good Council which helped feed those in need. Anna was a great cook and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who never spoke an unkind word. The family would like the thank Mary, Georgia and Vickie for their devotion and love. She is survived by three sons; Fred Scerbo and wife Patricia of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Joseph Scerbo, Jr. and wife Judith of Little Rock, Frank Scerbo and wife Sue of Birmingham, Michigan, nine grandchildren; Gina Bilger, Denise Zemanovich, Gerilyn Aspres, Lori Colosimo, Heidi Iverson, Jennifer Fehr, James Scerbo, Holly Scerbo, and Joseph Scerbo, and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church officiated by Father Jack Vu. Burial will take place in New Jersey at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
