Obituary Notice

Lela H. Kessler, 97, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Monday, December 13, 2004. She was born September 21, 1907, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Rev. John Hamilton and Beecher Ambrose Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by one brother, McDowell Hamilton; and her husband, E. Marshall Kessler, to whom she was married on March 21, 1937. She was a 1930 graduate of Logan College in Russellville, Kentucky. Mrs. Kessler was an elementary school teacher for almost 40 years.

She is survived by her son, Warren Kessler of Roland, Arkansas; three grandsons, Shawn, Todd and Jeremy Kessler; and one great-granddaughter, Madelle Kessler.

There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, Kentucky, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. (2 p.m. Eastern) Thursday at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
