Bill Charles Gogle
Obituary Notice
Bill Charles Gogel, age 79, of Little Rock died October 27, 2004. He was born
in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 1925 to the late Charles and Julia Gogel.
Mr. Gogel graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a B.S. in Chemistry.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII having served in Japan. Bill moved to Little
Rock in 1963, after living in New Jersey where he worked for the Thyacol Company
on the Mercury Project. He later retired from the Pittsburg Plate Glass Company
in 1986. He was a member of the Maumelle Country Club, where he played golf as
often as he possibly could.
Mr. Gogel is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine; his brother, Edward V.
Gogel and his wife Eileen of Winter Haven, Fla; a niece, Lynn D. Lieber and her
husband Robert of San Francisco, CA; and a nephew, Edward D. Gogel of San
Francisco, CA.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday in the chapel of
Ruebel Funeral Home with Father Brendon Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
