  • Dear Robbie, Albert & Pete: I know you must be feeling a lot of pain right now, but I hope you find peace in knowing that you have a lot of friends that have you in their prayers at this time.

I worked with Peter for many years at Favorite Checks Printers, then later at Clarke. I was younger at the time and learned a lot about the business world from Peter. I respected him very much, and while I know he was a very private person, I always knew how much he loved his family, and how proud he was of Albert & Peter. I had a chance to go sailing with Peter & Robbie several times and remember every one of them like it was yesterday. I will always keep those memories with me.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts at this difficult time.

  • It is hard to put into words to describe what a wonderful person Peter was and the positive influence that he had in my life. I often think of him as a mentor, but that does not even do justice to all that I learned from my time with him. He saw something in me and gave me my 1st chance in the business world. He encouraged and listened to me when I needed someone to talk with. He was my boss and my friend. I will miss him terribly. The world needs more men like Peter Braunfisch.

  • Dear Robbie, I was shocked and saddened to read about the untimely death of Peter. Please know I am thinking about you and the boys...it has been a very long time since we both lived on Kavanaugh Place, but I still remember it fondly.

  • My first knowledge of Hans Peter Braunfisch was when he greeted me with a German accent and handshake in 1982. At that time, he allowed me to join the work family of Favorite Check Printers. Even to this day, I believe it was his encouragement that led me to stay in the printing world. It is considered a privilege to have known Peter in this lifetime and I had much respect for him. My deepest sympathy goes out to Robbie, Albert, J. Peter, and family.
