Obituary Notice

Lourie Darland Marshall, of 372 Skyline Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas, the wife of the late Terrell Marshall, died Monday, December 29, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Anna and Frank Darland, and was born in Plainville, Kansas. She moved to Boulder, Colorado at an early age, and attended public schools in Boulder. She also attended St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, Colorado. She married Terrell Marshall, and has resided in Little Rock and North Little Rock since 1928. She served as Secretary and President of the Highway Beautiful Garden Club, and as Secretary of the State Federation of Garden Clubs and the Wake Robin Garden Club. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Plainville, Kansas.

One son, Dr. Terrell Marshall, Jr. of Roslyn, Pennsylvania, a sister Norma McCaffney of Boulder, Colorado, and a brother Homer Darland of Mesa, Arizona, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren survive her.

There will be a graveside funeral; service Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
